The single life looks different for every person. Some people really lean into the lifestyle. They re-download all the apps and make sure everyone knows that they are open for business. Other people use the time for some serious self-reflection. They take up yoga classes and begin painting their feelings rather than attending to their usual 9-5. Some people just literally disappear off the face of the earth. Not actually, though, they just finally bite the bullet and head for that 6 month South America trip they've been talking about for years. Then there are people who probably wouldn't call the single life a phase at all. Can something that lasts over 3 years really be a phase? Or by that point is it more of an identity?
